More Rain and Wind Expected Through Until Christmas Day in Dorset

Motorists are being warned to be extra careful on the roads around Dorset as persistant rain and strong winds continue to batter the county.
Flooding has been reported on the Coast Road at Swyre, Burton Road, East Stoke and Wareham and the West Stafford Bypass.
South West Trains had to cancel a number of services earlier and trains are restricted to 50 mile per hour limits as a safety precuation.
Meteorologist at the MET Office Becky Yousiff told us strong winds and rain would continue this evening and overnight, leading to fears of increased flooding and more travel disruption on Chirstmas Eve.
Dorset Police is warning motorists to take extra care on the roads.
Dorset Fire and Rescue is urging us to only drive if absolutely necessery.
