Housing Trust Gets "Outstanding" Rating

The way a Dorset Housing Trust looks after its tenants has been described as 'outstanding' following a surprise inspection.
East Boro, who deliver care to elderly, vulnerable and disabled people in their homes, were checked by the Care Quality Commission who interviewed their clients.
The unannounced inspection focused on customer choice, welfare and safety and how the organisation supports staff and assesses the quality of the service.
With schemes in Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester and Bridport East Boro say they'll now be expanding their services further around the county.
Mary Stepin, East Boro's director of housing care and support, told Wessex FM what the reult of the report meant for the future, "This outstanding report now means we can push ahead with our recruitment drive as we endeavour to meet an increased demand for service provision across Dorset."
