Spate of Damage to Homes and Cars Across Bridport

Police are looking for anyone with infomation after windows of vehicles and houses have been damaged in Bridport.

The incidents happened last Sunday (5th of January), starting at around 8.30pm.

A window of a house was broken in Swithins Road, one vehicle in Armstrong Road and two in Orchard Crescent sustained damage to a window, and one of these also had damage to tyres. Furthermore, a window of the Tanners Pub in West Arlington was smashed.

Detective Constable Paula Hollick, of Western CID, told Wessex FM, "These incidents have caused an obvious inconvenience to the property owners. I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incidents to contact police in confidence."

A 40-year-old man and a 41-year-old man, both from Bridport, have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, but have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Dorset Police are asking witnesses to call 101.
