Expensive Bike Stolen From Weymouth

An expensive mountain bike’s been stolen from Weymouth.

Police say it was taken from a communal area at a premises in Abbotsbury Road between Sunday afternoon on the 12thJanuary and the following Tuesday evening.

Officers say the loss of the Diamondback Summit Air Mountain bike has  caused a lot of inconvenience for the victim.

Acting Inspector Justin Elliott, of Weymouth police, said:

“I am keen to speak to anyone who has been offered such a bike for an unusually low price or in suspicious circumstances.

“I urge witnesses and anyone with information that can help with the investigation to come forward.

“All calls are treated with the strictest confidence.”
