Donations Pour In For Bosnian Teenager
7:50am 24th January 2014
A Dorset appeal to fund life changing surgery for a Bosnian teenager has already raised £4,000.
Wessex FM supported the original appeal for Stefan Savic back in 2003.
Stefan is now 14 years old and needs one more operation on his nose and pallet at Great Ormond Street.
Wayne Ingram from Portland is leading the appeal - he first met Stefan while he was serving in Bosnia.
" He always was amazing. We saw that very early on. But he's excelled at school, he can now play the accordion, he sings in the choir. He's just doing really really well and his confidence is sky high."
"I would like to thank everyone in Dorset who's already donated and Calvin Stone and Sandy West for help leading the campaign."
