World Record Attempt In Memory Of 'Bart'

Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy are one of the names backing a world record attempt in memory of Olympian Andrew 'Bart' Simpson.
Bart's Bash is launched today by the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation which aims to set a new Guinness World Record for 'The Largest Dinghy Sailing Race' ever, to be held on Sunday 21st September.
It's a simultaneous club race with participants from across the country.
'Bart' died in a training accident in San Francisco Bay as he was preparing for the 2013 Americas Cup races.
Orgainser Jez Paine's told Wessex FM some of the biggest names in world sailing have agreed to take part.
