Police Appeal For Your Help After Spate Of Break Ins

Police in Dorchester are urging Poundbury residents to report any suspicious activity they see - particularly at night.

The appeal comes after a spate of overnight break ins at commercial premises.

The latest happened last night at a dentist in Winslade Street - when alarms went off before the burglars cut the wires.

Tools were also stolen from a lock up at Sunny Days Nursery the previous night.

In a separate incident a tractor worth £1,000 was stolen after being loaded on to a truck and chainsaws were taken from an outbuilding at Higher Came.
