Mum Puts On Charity Fundraiser For Late Partner

Joffy Clark 2

(Updated 11:44am 12th February 2014)

A Weymouth woman who's partner died suddenly on New Years Eve last year is holding a special fundraising event in April.

27-year-old Joffy Clark died from an enlarged heart - he didn't know he had the condition.

Claire Wootton and her young son have been helped by an organisation called CRY who provide screening to young people with possible heart conditions.

She's raising money for them.

The charity event is being held in April at Redlands. There'll be a range of stalls, face painting, bouncy castle, bands, raffle prizes and a stall about CRY as well.

Teams are also needed to take part in a mini football tournament - and its £10 to enter.
