Motorcyclist Dies After Collision in Dorchester

A mans died after being knocked off his motorcycle in Dorchester.
The collision happened on Windsor road at around 8.30pm last night (Tuesday 18th February).
The 23 year old man, who is local to the area, was hit by a people carrier and then collided with a parked car.
Paramedics treated him for his injuries at the scene before taking him to hospital, where he later died.
Forensics closed off the junction on Windsor Road and Cambridge Road for some time gathering evidence from the crash.
Dorset Police is investigating the incident and thanked people living nearby and those using the road;
"Police would like to thank residents and other members of the public for their patience while a full accident investigation took place."
The driver of the people carrier, a 47 year old local man, wasn't injured.
