Firefighters Remove Car Roof To Free Casualty

Dorset Fire And Rescue Engine

One person's been taken to hospital following a two car collission  at Owermoigne.

It happened at about 1015 last night on Wareham Road.

Dorset Fire and Rescue say crews from Weymouth and Dorchester used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of one vehicle  to free a casualty, who was placed on a spinal board by paramedics before being transported on to hospital.
