New Parking Signs Help Motorists Find a Spot in Dorchester

Efforts have been made to stop motorists going "parking mad" in Dorchester.

New high-tech digital signs have been installed at Queens Avenue that direct drivers to car parks that have spaces.

The Council hopes it'll reduce queuing traffic and people circling around town while helping to take some of the stress out of finding a car parking space.

Hilary Cox, Cabinet member for Environment says the news signs will be a huge benefit to road users;

"The addition of these digital signs in Dorchester will make a huge improvement for local people and visitors to the area looking for parking. It will cut down on queues and congestion, making the experience better for everyone."
