Quad Bike Theft Warning

quad bike

8:30am 5th May 2014

A Dorset police inspector's warning quad bike owners in the county to keep them securely locked up at night.

It follows two incidents in a week, one in which a quad bike was stolen.

In the latest attempt at a farm along the A37 three men were disturbed  but left empty handed.

Inspector Steve Marsh thinks the thieves may be coming in from Somerset as they appear to be targeting properties on or close to the A37 Dorchester to Yeovil road.

He says they're already liasing with Avon and Somerset police, sharing intelligence and working with them to find the culprits.
