Weymouth Jobs Firm See "Huge Rise" in Placements

A Weymouth recruitment firm says it's placed 487 new job seekers into roles during the first three months of this year.
Frontline Recruitment predicted an upturn in the jobs market in 2014 after posting record results last year.
The recruitment specialists saw turnover rise by 36% to £12.25M for the 12 months to 31st October, with profits up 45% year on year.
Tony Wilmot, co-founder of the company said:
"This huge rise in new placements means two things: that employers are still 'trying before they buy' before employing jobseekers on temporary contracts; and that employees are now trying harder than ever to impress employers so that they can land themselves permanent positions."
"Our clients are becoming more and more confident. We noticed late last year that the construction and manufacturing sectors were leading the way by taking the plunge and hiring new staff before other industries.
These new figures show that other sectors are following suit, which is very encouraging news."
