Court Case Involving Dorchester BID Settled
1:24pm 19th June 2014
Dorchester BID won't have to pay out any more money for a survey carried out of levy payers.
The BID forked out more than £3,000 for the questionnaire, which returned 90 responses out of a possible 400.
It was commissioned by a previous Chairman.
Four days after the invoice was paid, the supplier of the survey invoiced Dorchester BID for a further £5,350.
The Board of Directors, who weren't happy with the service provided, refused to pay, and said it wasn't in the interest of their Levy payers to do so.
The matter then went to court.
Dorchester BID says the case has now been settled with no additional payments being made by either party.
