A campaigner who's fighting to improve safety on a stretch of the A352 says he's sadden someone has now lost their life on the road.

Alastair MacLean is thinks the road between Portway and East Knighton is dangerous.

A motorcyclist lost his life on Wednesday in an accident on the A352 at Winfrith.

In a statement to Wessex FM Alastair told us about what he thinks is a particular danger spot there.

"Cars often enter the layby by the bus stop, using the space as a slip road in order to pass through.  Accidents have been the result and years ago the telephone box was demolished to be replaced time again. Its now been moved to the other side of the road."

Alastair has carried out a report on what he thinks the dangers are of this stretch of road.
