Play Tells Story Of Troops Leaving Afghanistan

AsOne theatre company are launching their latest touring project, a newly commissioned play Passion, commemorating the start of WW1 and the withdrawl of troops from the Afghanistan conflict.
The production has received grant funding form the Heritage Lottery Fund for WW1 Research into local families, recollections and experiences, Arts Council England for artistic development and the WDDC.
A VIP launch will take place at 6.30pm this evening at the Dorset History Centre in Dorchester.
The premiere performance of Passion will be at the Dorchester Corn Exchange on October 8th and will tour the county until November.
