Two Crewman Injured In Explosion Off Portland Bill

Two crewmen were airlifted to Dorset County Hospital yesterday morning after an explosion on board a large ship off Portland Bill.
Both men had suffered facial injuries in the blast.
They were working on board the cargo ship Happy Dragon from the Netherlands.
The coastguard helicopter was scrambled from the Lee-On-Solent base.
Portland Coastguard were alerted to the incident by the French Coastguard station at Jobourg.
The casualties were airlifted to Dorchester Rugby Ground and then taken to A&E at Dorset County Hospital.
