On non-league day, and Weymouth beat Slough 3-2, with first-half goals from Adam Kelly, Chris Shephard and Stewart Yetton. They're away at Chippenham on Tuesday evening.

Stuart Heath continued in charge of Dorchester Town for their trip to Banbury United, which they lost 2-1.

Bridport began their FA Vase campaign with a home tie against Totton & Eling. Trevor Senior's men were favourites to progress to the next round, as the Hampshire side are bottom of the Wessex Premier, having lost all their seven league games.

Goals from Jamie Symes, Tom Richardson (2), Tristan Gayle and Dan Wise gave Bridport a comfortable 5-0 victory, as well as £600 and a home tie against Isle of Wight side East Cowes Victoria on Saturday October 4th.

The Bees have a league home game next Saturday against Winterborne Utd.

Portland United lost their 100% record in the Dorset Premier League to 3rd placed Merley Cobham Sports, who won 1-0.
