Be Spellbound In Weymouth Next Month
6:52am 22nd September 2014
Business leaders in Weymouth want to be 'spellbound' by shops dressing in the Halloween theme for next month's half term week.
There's to be a 'freaky streets' trail and prizes for the best window display as we're being enticed into the town centre's pot of goodies
'Freaky Streets' will start on October the 25th and run right up till Halloween itself.
On the 31st October the themed events will include skateboarding and a workshop, storytelling , balloon making and hula hoop displays as well as a chance for children to join in pavement art, freaky circus skills, plus a freaky fancy dress competition.
Weymouth businesses wanting to take part should contact Paul Mills at the Weymouth BID Office on 01305 779410.
Nigel Reed, Weymouth BID manager says ''We have lots of exciting new additions to this year's Freaky Streets Event and the BID directors have been working very hard to ensure they are adding value to the event by attracting more visitors to the town and providing first class entertainment for the whole family.''
