Great Wessex Dinners Tonight
8:22am 4th October 2014
How about this for an idea... invite some friends round for dinner, charge them for the meal, and give the cash to our local Naomi House Children's Hospice.
People all over Southern England will be sitting down to dinner tonight (Saturday 4th October) in support of local families with life-limited children. It's called the Great Wessex Dinner and follows the success of 'The Great Dorset Dinner' in 2009 but this time it's bigger and better.
The newly renamed Great Wessex Dinner has gone beyond the county boundaries to take in Hampshire, Wiltshire and also Somerset.
Paul Morgan, Fundraising Manager at Naomi House said:
"We are really excited about the Great Wessex Dinners event and hope that hundreds of people will show their support for local life-limited children and their families by hosting a delicious dinner for friends and families.
The money from the dinner is being shared between Naomi House and Jacksplace at Stockbridge and Julia's House in Dorset.
If you're hosting a dinner and want to find out more contact Di Pestell at Julia's House on 01202 644220 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
