Pop Culture Up For Auction

Dukes

7:55am 28th October 2014

Every fancied calling last orders at your favourite TV pub? Or stepping into the kitchen and seeing an iconic movie sign? Well all of that and more is going up for auction.

The treasure trove of pop-culture has estimates ranging from between £20 and £40 for some items and others expected to go for hundreds of pounds.

Dukes Auctioneer Matthew Denny said "This is an extraordinary collection of Victorian pub mirrors and doors, they have been collected together over many years, and it must be a unique gathering of items of this type."

The pieces were found in an 'Aladdin's cave-esque' warehouse where it's thought they've been untouched for 10-15 years.

The auction is taking place at Duke's Auctioneers in Dorchester.
