Dorset School Host Genocide Expert

He saved the lives of over 200 orphans during the 1994 Rwandan genocide and next year a Dorchester school is hosting Dr Carl Wilkens during his lecture tour.

It's part of Thomas Hardye School's Holocaust Memorial Week that's taking place next March.

Dr Wilkens refused a US Presidential order to evacuate Rwanda during the conflict and has been devoting his life to stopping genocide, promoting human rights and developing genocide education.
