Dealing With Bad Weather In Bridport

west bay harbour wall tide

7:15am 4th November 2014

People in Bridport are being asked for their ideas to help the town deal with severe weather events.

The drop-in-session is being run by the Town Council and Communities Living Sustainably in Dorset and they're looking for advice on issues like identifying vulnerable groups and finding equipment during an emergency.

It's running from 4pm to 7pm today at Bridport Town Hall today (4th November).

Plans have already been devloping after an workshop held in July came up with a range of ideas from local people on how the community could cope better with severe weather both today and in the future.
