Rachel To Run Around Dorset

Runner

12:06am 16th November 2014

A woman from Dorset is lacing up her running boots and getting ready to run nearly 220 miles to raise money for local Opportunity Groups next year.

Rachel Goodfellow is taking on the marathon challenge for the Groups in Dorset and Somerset that help children with additional needs make the transition into school life.

She has been telling Wessex FM surprisingly the running itself isn't the hardest part of the fundraising.

She said: "I started a month ago and I've never done Twitter accounts or like that in my life before. So I had to learn very, very quickly. So it's hard work but great fun!"

The run is taking place between 25th June - 1st July.
