Woman Injured In Weymouth By Thrown Bottle

Its claimed a woman was racially abused and a bottle was thrown into a crowd in the early hours of Sunday morning in Weymouth. (16th November)

The incident happened around 1am outside the Actors pub in Maiden Street and Dosret Police say it's thought one woman's leg was cut because of the bottle smashing.

Police Constable Elaine Leader, of Weymouth Police, said: "I am keen to trace this woman who was injured during the incident.

"I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened outside the Actors pub in the early hours of Sunday morning.

"Anyone with information that may assist my investigation should contact Dorset Police."

A 20-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of affray and has been released on police bail until mid-December pending further enquiries.

Dorset Police are asking with any information to call them on 101, quoting incident number 16:40.
