Woman In 70s Hit By Van While Driving In Weymouth

An elderly woman was injured when a van hit the back of her smartcar as she was driving in Weymouth.

The driver of the van then helped the woman in her seventies home after the incident that happened around 10am on 14th November at the junction of Chickerell and Abbotsbury Road but didn't give her his details.

Police Constable Neil Fitch, of Weymouth police, said: "I would like to speak with the driver of this van to establish the circumstances of the collision." 

"I also urge any witnesses to the collision to come forward and contact police."

Dorset Police are asking anyone with any information to call them on 101 quoting incident number 14:132.
