Dorset Police Car At Night

4:17pm 8th December 2014

A man in Weymouth was threatened with hypodermic needle while he was forced into his bed during an aggravated burglary.

Two men entered the bungalow in the Pottery Lane area uninvited at around 5:30pm on the 3rd of December before stealing two mobile phones and running away roughly 15 minutes later.

Acting Detective Sergeant James Mullen, of Weymouth CID, said: "I believe the offenders run away from the location toward Weymouth town centre following the incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in that area.

"Calls will be dealt with in strict confidence."

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting incident number 3:328.

The 24 year old victim was uninjured.
