Train Times To Be Hit By Expected Severe Weather
12:26pm 11th December 2014
Rail passengers are being warned to expect disruption to the service if expected severe weather hits Dorset tonight.
High winds are forecast over much of South West Trains' routes throughout the night and into the morning with lines in Weymouth expected to be the worst hit.
Currently the train company plans to run a normal service over the next 24 hours but they say any debris caused by the bad weather will cause problems to their service.
They also say that for safety reasons trains may need to travel at a reduced speed, meaning that journey times in some areas may be extended.
Any changes will be on South West Trains' website or on their Twitter account @SW_Trains.
