He's been making his list and he's been checking it twice and now Santa's decided a special penguin at Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park has definitely been nice.

Sequoia is the only single penguin there, so Father Christmas has brought her a plush toy penguin to help keep her company.

The Displays Curator Fiona Smith told Wessex FM: "Sequoia enjoys interacting with guests through the viewing window as penguins are very social creatures. She was thrilled that Father Christmas popped by to deliver her a special gift!"

Sequoia is a Humboldt Penguin, which are an endangered species. SEA LIFE started a breeding program in 2001 to help sustain numbers in captivity due to their drastic decline in the wild.

With only about 12,000 Humboldt's left in the wild, breeding colonies throughout centres will not only help keep their numbers up but will also help to raise awareness of their conservation status.
