Solicitors Help Autism Wessex

A charity that helps people across Dorset with Autism is itself being given a major helping hand.

The team at Frettens Solicitors raised over £9,000 for Autism Wessex through several fundraisers during the year and the solicitors are topping that up to £10,000.

Staff have sweated through a quarter marathon, pushed their cooking skills at their monthly Big Brekkies and tested local businesses' sporting knowledge at a World Cup quiz to raise the money.

Kate Fretten from Frettens said "It has been our privilege to support Autism Wessex this year; we have held and taken part in some fantastic events to raise money."

"We are continuing to support the charity this Christmas by not sending cards and instead have created a short video to share with our clients and friends."
"To continue with the festive spirit we are also topping up all the fundraising efforts so the new total is £10,000. We are proud to be able to support a local charity and to benefit the lives of those in our community affected by autism."

The donations from Frettens have funded a new sensory room at Penny Farthing, one of our residential homes."
Penny Farthing is home to four young adults with specialist staff on hand 24/7 to ensure each member of the household's needs are met and monitored.
