Man Injured In Fight In Dorchester Town FC Bar

A man's been injured in what Dorchester Town Football Club have described as  'unseemly scenes' in their Lounge Bar following the Boxing Day local derby against Weymouth.

The club's posted the following statement on its website: 'Dorchester Town Football Club extend their sincere regrets to everyone who witnessed the unseemly scenes in the Lounge Bar after match against Weymouth Football Club, especially to the young and more mature supporters of both sides who were visibly upset by the incident.

We would like to send our very best wishes to the gentleman who was injured and wish him a speedy recovery.

The club will not comment further until it has received the police report into the incident'.
