Man Found Dead On Weymouth Esplanade

The death of a homeless man whose body was found on Weymouth Esplanade is being described as 'unexplained'.

The 44-year-old was discovered in the early evening on Friday, according to Dorset Police.

They've also said it's an 'isolated incident' and they're looking for anyone with information to get in touch.

Police haven't yet officially released the name of the man, but its believed he was of no fixed abode and had been in the Weymouth area for the last four years.

Angie Barnes works for Soul Food in Weymouth, who help feed the homeless in the town.  She told Wessex FM: " I am very sad to about his death. He was a really nice guy, really young and will be missed."
