Win Real, Local Food

Got 10 minutes to spare - you could win some Real, Local Food
Take part in the Communities Living Sustainably in Dorset (CLS) survey and you could win a £50 voucher to spend at the Real Food Shop, a mobile shop that is teeming with local produce.
The aim of the survey is to build an understanding of people's awareness, attitudes and behaviour with respect to climate change and the environment. CLS ran a similar survey last year and found that the majority of respondents felt they understood the causes and impacts of climate change and how to be environmentally friendly. While many said they always took simple environmentally friendly actions like turning off the tap when brushing their teeth, a significant proportion of respondents weren't fully insulated and didn't use simple water saving devices.
Emily Bullock, Greener Choices Co-ordinator for CLS said: "We were really encouraged last year to see what people are already doing to be environmentally friendly, and that most people would like to do even more. We hope that events such as Open Eco Homes and Draught-busters, along with our Eco-schools and Food programmes will have helped them to do so. We'd love to hear as many local views as possible so please fill in the survey, whether you did it last year or not."
All those who take part in the survey will have the option to enter a free prize draw to win a hamper of local food provided by the Real Food Shop, a mobile shop providing fruit, vegetables, dairy, and meat products produced by a co-operative of small holders in West Dorset, South Somerset and East Devon.
Emily says: "The survey is really important to us as it will help us to understand current attitudes and behaviour towards the environment. This will help shape our work, and help us measure changes since last year. We are also delighted to support the Real Food Shop. With 25% of all lorries on the road carrying food, sourcing food locally helps to cut greenhouse gas emissions as well as support the local economy."
The survey, open until 6th Feb 2015, can be found at http://www.clsdorset.org.uk/Greener_choices-Survey_2015.aspx
