She's helped raise over £100,000 helping children cope with their parents being away in the British Army and now a Dorset mum is being recognised by Tesco as a Mum of the Year.
Louise Fetigan from Bovington set up My Daddy is a Solider Adventures in 2011 when her daughter began struggling to cope with her father being away on duty for long periods of time
But she told Wessex FM this award isn't just about her: "It's going to raise really good awareness about the charity.
"Ultimately we're a really small charity too so we need as many people as possible to look at My Daddy is a Solider Adventures and the work we do."
"Then hopefully they'll get behind the Little Troopers (soldiers' children) and support them."
Fearne Cotton, popular TV and radio presenter, is Ambassador of the Tesco Mum of the Year Awards 2015 and said: "There are so many inspirational mums out there who don't know just how special they are! I am very excited to help give these incredible mums the recognition and appreciation they deserve."
Debbie Chernin, Tesco Mum of the Year Manger, said: "This unique charity, which helps children whose parents are in active service, is truly wonderful."
The Award ceremony is taking place at London's iconic hotel, The Savoy, on Sunday 1st March.
