The company will be moving members of its reservations and customer services teams to their offices in Poole

Condor Ferries is closing its Weymouth office and relocating staff to Poole.

The company, which no longer operates from Weymouth Port, will be moving members of its reservations and customer services teams to their offices in Poole, as well as three members of the sales and marketing team.

Executive Director, Alicia Andrews, said: "Condor Ferries is vacating the Weymouth offices that we currently rent from Weymouth & Portland Borough Council, as the Council wishes to take back control of the building.

"We will be working with our Weymouth staff to provide short term transport support with transport costs and hope they will join the Condor Ferries team based in Poole.

"The change will not affect our port teams or crews who already work out of Poole and who are already employed to work at any of Condor’s Dorset ports. Services to our customers will also not be affected by this change."

The move will be effective as of Monday 19th October 2015.
