Officers in Weymouth have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after damage was caused and staff members threatened in a shop in the town.

Officers in Weymouth have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after damage was caused and staff members threatened in a shop in the town.

The incident happened at around 7.50pm on Saturday 3 October 2015 in the Londis store on Westham Road.

A man entered the store and acted in a threatening manner toward staff members before attacking the displays and till area after they was refused to serve him.  

A substantial amount of damage was caused inside the store.

Police Sergeant Andy Jenkins, of Weymouth police, said: "This was an unprovoked attack and the offender's behaviour was completely unacceptable.

"I am releasing this CCTV image as I would like to speak to this pictured man in relation to this incident.

"I urge anyone who recognises him to contact me, in confidence, on 101."
