Dorset police told Wessex FM they were called at about 1.50pm to St Mary's Street after the bones came to light as a pavement was dug up by workmen.


Bones dug up by workmen in Weymouth town centre this afternoon have been sent off for analysis.

A spokesman for Dorset police said they're not treating the incident as suspicious.
