A charity calendar celebrating Dorset women in the food industry has been launched for 2017.

Proceeds from the Dorset Food and Drink's calendar will go to Weldmar Hospicecare Trust and children's hospice Julia's House.

Christine McFadden operates a cookery school from Littlebredy near Dorchester and appears as November.

"When I came to be photographed I had just done a cookery class on fermenting vegetables and I had done a lot of Korean things, very colourful yellow red root vegetables, so I thought lets use that recipe and the photograph because it really shouts out."

The calendar was the brainchild of Tracy Collins who runs preserve making business “Ajar Of” from the village of Droop in North Dorset.

Speaking about where the idea came from, she said; "I suggested we should do a calendar that promotes women in food business in Dorset and Catherine from Dorset Food and Drink was fully on board.  We decided it would be the 'not naked' calendar because we wanted the food to shine through."

You can get your copy from any upcoming Dorset Food and Drink events and Delicious Deli in Weymouth.
