Groves Nurseries in Bridport and Little Groves in Beaminster will be supporting local people who fallen on difficult times this December.

Groves Nurseries in Bridport and Little Groves in Beaminster will be repeating their charity Christmas tree promotion again this December by donating 50p from every real tree sold to support the food banks in Bridport and Beaminster.

Charlie Groves managing director of Groves said: "We know that for some families trying to make Christmas a special time can be very stressful with extra costs so we're really pleased to support the food banks that do such a marvellous job throughout the year but are under extra pressure at Christmas. We donated 4 trolley loads of food and essentials last year thanks to our customers and would love to make it more this year."

Revd. Canon Andrew Evans  from Bridport team ministry whose initiative Cupboard Love helps local families and individuals said: "We are really so grateful that Groves are  helping us again this year as their donations help to fill our Christmas hampers and if that wasn't generous enough they are also very kindly helping to deliver them again in their vans."

If you would like to help Groves give as much as possible then visit either Groves in Bridport or Little Groves in Beaminster and buy a tree - they offer free delivery in the local area.
