The Dorset Burger Company has made it to the final of the National Burger Awards.

Could Britain's best burger come from Weymouth?

The Dorset Burger Company has made it to the final of the National Burger Awards.

The Wessex FM Business Award winners are off to London next month to take part in the live final where Head Chef Ross Kay will have to cook for signature burgers in 50 minutes.

The chefs will compete for four awards on the night, which will be decided by a team of distinguished judges including Christian Stevenson, who broadcasts across a variety of channels and presenting on Jamie Oliver's Food Tube, Hawksmoor co-founder Richard Turner, Byron head of food Fred Smith, Telegraph food writer Xanthe Clay and Andy Waugh, founder of Mac & Wild, which won 2016's National Burger Awards.

Ross will be up against 15 other finalists, having been chosen from hundreds of entries from across the UK.

The awards take place on Wednesday 22nd February.
