Brewery Square in Dorchester is set to welcome children’s TV presenter Mr. Bloom this Easter.
His character encourages young viewers to get into gardening, eat healthily and learn about the natural world around them.
Starting on Good Friday, Brewery Square will host a range of events, including a performance by Mr. Bloom. His 40 minute set will be free of charge for visitors to enjoy.
‘Tiddlers’ can win a meet and greet with Mr. Bloom after the show, which starts at 11a.m., on Brewery Square’s Facebook page by entering the ‘Welly Squiggle’ competition.
Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, said: “We are all very excited about the arrival of Mr. Bloom. Our Easter Weekend events are very popular and it’s great to see so many families getting out and about, enjoying the Square and enjoying their chocolate Easter Eggs after. We hope to make 2017 our biggest year full of exciting events and we can’t wait to share some more information about what’s in store for 2017.”
Other events include a free Easter Egg each day over the Easter weekend. It will take place around the square from 10am until 4pm. You need to pick up a form on the day from the Concierge Office, hunt for the eggs and return the form for a free Easter prize.
