Dorchester Post Office gets stamp of approval

The branch in Trinity Street has picked up an award for exceptional customer service.

Dorchester Post Office, located at Trinity Street, Dorset, has picked up an award for exceptional customer service/was recognised as a top performer at the 2017 Post Office Network Sales Awards
 
The ceremony, celebrating the hard work, community spirit and excellent levels of service provided to customers by teams and individuals working in over 11,600 branches, was held in London on Saturday 10th June.
 
The team from Dorchester picked up the title of best travel retailer in the mains branch category.
 
Commenting on the award Lara Eveleigh who collected the award for Dorchester Post Office said:  "We're really proud of our achievements I'm really delighted to pick up this award on the branches behalf. We all work really hard to offer our customers a great service especially our product champion Christine Seex and we're pleased the Post Office has recognised our efforts through this award."
 
Kevin Gilliland, Post Office Chief Executive Retail said: "We are transforming our network and making our services better for customers. Thousands of branches are now open for longer, from early into the morning until late in the evening, seven days a week.  People working in branches such as Dorchester are key to our transformation programme and to ensuring our branches thrive at the heart of communities across the UK, not just for today's customers but for future generations too.
