Homeless bus has somewhere to park at last

The bus shelter Dorset bus 1

11:15am 11th October 2017

A bus for the homeless in Weymouth has finally found a place to park.

The Bus Shelter Dorset say after talks with the council and partner agencies they think a suitable site has been found.

The location hasn't been revealed yet, but they say work is underway so they can start operating as soon as possible.

The bus has been fitted out to provide beds for around 14 rough sleepers.

As a result of the development, they'll no longer be handing in a petition to the Borough Council tomorrow.

They've thanked everyone who signed it for supporting the cause.
