Coastguards search for man injured after fall

West Bay Coastguard fall rescue

8:46am 14th November 2017

West Bay Coastguard went to the aid of a 67-year-old man who'd fallen on the path between Seatown and Golden Cap.

His wife had no phone signal to raise the alarm, and was forced to leave her husband while she walked to Seatown to get help.

Rescue officers managed to find the man, who'd suffered a leg injury.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics.
