A Portland mum is putting on a charity karaoke night inspired by the hit TV show Benidorm to raise money for a cause very close to her heart.

Sam Tucker lost her 6-year-old daughter Molly to a brain tumour in September.

She wants to raise awareness of the symptoms and at the same time raise funds for the brain tumour charity.

The event will be held at Weymouth Pavilion next year and Sam is looking for support from local companies.

Sam told Wessex FM there could be one or two surprises: "I've got at least two video messages promised by some of the original cast members. I am still on a mission to see if I can get one or two of them to make an appearance. We shall see. Watch this space."

Sam is still looking for local businesses to help sponsor the event. You can get in touch with Sam at the Molly's Magic Facebook Page.

"Molly had a four yet fight and we are just trying to raise awareness and save some lives ," Sam said.
