Award winning creation for Beaminster bakery

The founder of a Beaminster bespoke bakery has won an award for one of her creations.

Heather Upham from Fancy That Cake Co took the Silver award at Cake International for sculpture of Stephen King's Pennywise the clown.

She told Wessex FM how her business grew from a childhood passion.

"I've been very arty most of my life. And I realised when I started doing things with sculpture I realised you can transpose that onto cake. You can make that leap - whether it's stone or wood or pottery - it's jus tthe same; you just need to treat cake witha  little more respect."

Heather added that no challenge is too big and that next year she plans to make something special for the centenary of WWI ending.
