In the Southern League Premier, third placed Weymouth faced in-form Banbury United and came away with a 2-1 win, thanks to a couple of goals from Harry Baker. They're at home to Redditch Utd next Saturday.

Dorchester proved too much for St Ives Town at the Avenue Stadium. Mo Baghdadi scored four times and Billy Lowes also found the back of the net, before David Jerrard scored towards the end to give them a 6-0 win.

In the Wessex Premier, Portland United entertained fifth placed Alresford Town at Grove Corner and it finished 1-1.

In the Toolstation Western League, Bridport's game against Cadbury Heath was postponed due to a water-logged pitch.

In rugby and Dorchester beat Salisbury's second team 40-5 but Bridport were on the wrong end of a 63-0 defeat away at Bournemouth's third team.
