A Dorchester craft shop has raised £1,849 for Dorset Mind.

The local mental health charity needed to come up with more than £35,000 to fund a new project manager who would set up its initial support services in Dorchester.

The Crafty Gift Boutique will be presenting their cheque to the newly appointed manager Louise Regan at the end of the month.

Dorset Mind works across the county offering support to people facing mental health problems or caring for those who are.
