In the Southern League Premier, fourth placed Weymouth made the trip to Stratford Town, and it finished 0-0. The Terras are away at King's Lynn next weekend.

Dorchester were looking to return to winning ways as they hosted Redditch United at the Avenue Stadium. New loan signing Cameron Ebbutt made his debut up front for the Magpies, but it was Archie Collins who scored the only goal to give the Magpies a 1-0 win.

In the Wessex Premier Portland United were looking to turn draws into three points as they hosted Bemerton Heath Harlequins at Grove Corner, but it ended in a 1-0 defeat.

In the Toolstation Western League Bridport made the journey to Clevedon Town, and came home empty handed as they lost 2-0 and were also down to 10 with Braeden Symes sent off in the second half.

In rugby and Dorchester had a comfortable 79-5 win over North Dorset's second team but there were defeats for Bridport and also Weymouth and Portland.
