Motorists are being told to avoid the A35 between Chideock and Bothenhampton.

A vehicle's broken down between the A3162 West Road and Duck Street, causing extremely slow traffic in the area.

Dorset Police said: "We received a call at 3.34pm reporting a broken-down vehicle on the Bridport side of Chideock Hill on the A35.

"The owner has arranged for the vehicle's recovery and an officer is on the scene."
